A private conversation should begin with clarity. This notice explains how we handle information sent through the website, by email or through WhatsApp while you are considering Asterbridge’s services.
If we begin an advisory engagement, we will explain any additional records we need to keep and how they are handled before that work starts.
Preview notice, operational approval pending. Notice version: 2026-10-30.3.
Who is responsible?
Asterbridge Academic Advisory Ltd is responsible for the personal information described here. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17487008. Our registered office is 65 First Avenue, London, England, E12 6AW. For privacy questions, write to asterbridgeadvisory@gmail.com.
What information do we receive?
Our enquiry form asks for your name and email address. You may also tell us whether you are a parent, guardian or student; the student’s school year, country and intended subject; and anything else you choose to write in the message. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the details and messages you send there.
A parent or guardian may give us information about a student. Students may also contact us directly. Please share only what is useful for an initial conversation, and do not send medical, financial or other sensitive details through the form.
Why do we use it?
We use enquiry details to understand your question, respond, arrange an introductory conversation and consider whether our guidance is suitable. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and, when you ask us to take steps towards an agreement with you, taking those steps before a contract.
We may also use limited technical information to operate and protect the website, on the basis of our legitimate interests in keeping it secure. Where we must retain information to meet a legal obligation, we use it for that purpose. The enquiry form’s privacy checkbox records that you have read this notice; it is not an agreement to receive marketing.
What can you ask us to do?
You can ask for a copy of your information, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to restrict or object to certain uses. Some rights depend on the circumstances. Email asterbridgeadvisory@gmail.com and we will help you understand what applies. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
What do the planning tools save?
The Eligibility Engine evaluates qualifications in your browser. It keeps your progress in session storage for the tab. If you choose “Remember my original profile on this device”, it also uses local storage so you can return later. This is optional: you can use the tool without remembering a profile.
Use “Clear my profile” in the tool to remove both saved versions, or clear this site’s storage in your browser. Avoid remembering information on a shared device. The tool does not send grades to Asterbridge, add them to enquiry links or include them in analytics. Printing or downloading a profile is initiated by you. After a successful form submission, a short-lived confirmation reference may be kept in this tab’s session storage to show the confirmation page; it contains no name, email or enquiry text and is removed when read.
The programme finder uses the stage, course direction, subject interest and support priority selected on that page. It does not ask for a name, grades or contact details, and does not send the answers to Asterbridge. If you choose to include your guide with an enquiry, those selections are held in this tab’s session storage. They are removed after the guide is added to your message or discarded, or when you edit or reset the finder or untick inclusion. Drafts older than 15 minutes are not used. You can also clear this site’s browser storage yourself. You can review and edit the resulting message before submitting it. Enquiry links carry only the programme and any selected subject, not the full set of answers.
